2. 作用用途

該品為氨基糖甙類廣譜抗生素，對多種革蘭陰性菌及陽性菌都具有抑菌和殺菌作用。對綠膿桿菌、產氣桿菌、肺炎桿菌、沙門氏菌屬、大腸桿菌及變形桿菌等革蘭陰性菌和金葡菌等作用較強。

該品的作用機制是與細菌核糖蛋白體亞單位上的特異性蛋白牢固結合，干擾核糖蛋白體功能，阻止蛋白質合成，并引起翻譯信使核糖核酸(mRNA)上密碼的錯誤而合成無功能蛋白質。

臨床上用于金葡菌、綠膿桿菌、大腸桿菌、痢疾桿菌、克雷白桿菌、變形桿菌和其它敏感菌所引起的敗血癥、呼吸道感染、膽道感染、化膿性腹膜炎、顱內感染、尿路感染及菌痢等疾患。

 2 Medical uses

Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic composed of a mixture of related gentamicin components and fractions and is used to treat many types of bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella, E. coli and Proteus.

Gentamicin is a bactericidal antibiotic that works by binding the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interrupting protein synthesis.

And it is used for sepsis, respiratory infections, biliary tract infection, purulent peritonitis, intracranial infections, urinary tract infections and dysentery and other diseases caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Shigella, Klebsiella, Proteus.
